The Vikings and Steelers met in London on Sunday for another edition of "the NFL in the UK" and Minnesota came away with their first win of the season, beating Pittsburgh 34-27. The Steelers fall to 0-4.
Matt Cassel started in place of an injured Christian Ponder (ribs) but it's possible he won't give that job back as he helps moves the Vikings to 1-3. Cassel helped open the scoring with a 70-yard touchdown to Greg Jennings and Adrian Peterson added a 60-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
Minnesota led 34-17 before the Steelers managed to close the gap late in the game, but it was not enough as Peterson ran down the clock to seal the win. Big Ben leaves London still looking for his first win.
Cassel threw for 248 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Adrian Peterson ran for 140 yards and had two touchdowns of his own.
Steelers rookie Le'Veon Bell made his debut and ran for 57 yards with two touchdowns.
Most of the fantasy options in this high-scoring game were productive. Kyle Rudolph was held to two catches and six yards.
The game was an even line, per OddsShark.com.
Both teams have a Bye week as they re-adjust to local time zones.
