For most of the game it wasn't easy, but the Chiefs beat the Raiders 24-7 on Sunday and improved to 6-0. Kansas City won just two games last season but this is their best start since winning their first nine games in 2003. Though the final score doesn't show it, Oakland did their best to keep it close.
The Chiefs led 14-7 in the fourth quarter but a pair of Terrelle Pryor interceptions helped make the lead insurmountable in the final minutes. Pryor finished with one touchdown and three interceptions and rushed for 55 yards. Kansas City recorded 10 sacks of Pryor, with Tamba Hali accounting for 3.5 of those.
The Raiders fall to 2-4 on the year.
Charles had 128 total yards and two touchdowns, though he also fumbled. Denarius Moore had 73 yards and a touchdown catch for the Raiders.
Raiders backup center Andre Gurode left with a knee injury.
The Chiefs were 7.5-point favorites, according to OddsShark.com, and easily covered.
