INTRODUCTION:If you want an unmedicated "natural" birth without an epidural, this is the ideal class for you. Each class in this four-week series begins the mind and body preparation for labor and continues to build upon what you learned the previous week. You'll practice comfort measures and breathing and relaxation techniques as you learn about the normal birth process. This class incorporates the Lamaze 6 care practices. Couples need to bring a mat (or blanket) and pillows to class and should dress comfortably as much of the class will be done with you practicing on the floor.
