INTRODUCTION:Baptist Medical Center Beaches is offering a Safe Sitter class for 11- to 14-year olds. Lunch and a training manual is included in the class fee. Over 500,00 adolescent babysitters have graduated from Safe Sitter courses across the country. The curriculum provides hands-on practice in infant and child choking rescue techniques and prepares babysitters to act in an emergency. Babysitters also receive instruction on how a child's age affects how to care for them, how to prevent problem behavior and how to run their own babysitting business. CLASS FORMAT:Single day class for boys and girls. 9 am - 2 pm.CLASS PREREQUISITE:NoneCLASS REGISTRATION:Seating is limitedf and pre-payment is required.
