Ace Winn performs Live for Northeast Florida Great Strides Walk To Benefit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Spring is in the air, and this is the time of year when Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) chapters across the country take millions of steps during the Great Strides walks to cure the genetic disease. In Northeast Florida, six Great Strides walks will take place throughout April and May, offering a variety of locations to participate and raise money in support of CFF research. Last year, North Florida teams raised more than $350,000 and this year's goal being to top $400,000. "Great Strides is the CFF's largest annual fundraising effort across the country and a terrific family and team-building event," said Claudia Werner, executive director of the North Florida Cystic Fibrosis Foundation office. "Our walks offer a great variety of scenic locations and the North Florida spring weather makes it a wonderful time to be outdoors while supporting a great cause. We encourage everyone to start recruiting their teams and begin fundraising today!"
